Before the Green Salon Impact Tour, GBCF used two 2025 community micro-grant events to test and refine the model—connecting community cleanup, sustainability education, Green Pledge activation, and supported certificates where the evidence allows.
The pilot that informed the Tour
These two events helped GBCF work out the operating approach before expanding into a four-stop Tour. Local leaders shaped the activities while GBCF learned what to carry forward into the Tour’s salon-community format.
What the pilot reached
Two 2025 activities have one combined host-reported figure of 65 participation and completion instances. This is a combined activity total, not a recipient-level split or unique-person count.
